Meet Chef Lakisha Davis

Wife • Mother • Chef • Servant of God through Flavor

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Chef Lakisha Davis has always carried a heart for people and a gift for feeding both body and soul. Her culinary journey began long before she had a business name — in her own kitchen, where as a single mother of two, she made sure no one in her community went hungry. Even with limited resources, she shared what she had, believing that food was one of the purest ways to show love.

 

In 2019, Lakisha married her husband, and together they continued to build a life rooted in family, faith, and service. When the pandemic struck in 2020, she decided to step out on faith and begin selling dinners. What started as a way to provide for her family quickly became a ministry through food — with her seafood salad and pot roast becoming community favorites.

 

By 2021, her homemade sweet potato pies had become a local holiday sensation, inspiring her to officially register her catering business and earn her ServeSafe certification. Since then, Chef Lakisha has continued to expand her God-given vision — one meal, one family, and one event at a time.

 

Today, her catering brand stands as a reflection of excellence, hospitality, and Kingdom service — dedicated to feeding people with love, joy, and the presence of God in every dish. Whether preparing intimate dinners or large celebrations, Chef Lakisha’s mission is simple: to serve all people, but especially to cater to believers in the Kingdom of God.
